The Talent

Hardly ever does anyone I don't think I know enter my car. But one morning I woke up to a very strange man. At least I think he was a he?? You could not see him, in fact my train is in fact my TRAIN. So to you this is just a dream.

I had a piece of paper and I was suppose to tell someone goodbye. I had to look at who he was in the train directory! Oh you. I had maybe spoken to him all of three times in the 3 years of being on God's Train.

So I flipped the directory upside down, paper too and drew him. You know it turned out pretty good. It was put in the note book a long with the written out ones. But the picture was on top.

That's when I really noticed this man. He said "What are you going to do with your talent?" I  was hoping he was talking about visiting others, volunteering. But no not that, the drawing.. That talent. I had no response.

When I came home I looked down next to my chair. I remembered! Em's book! I was writting and drawing pictures for my first grand-daughter. The story came quickly but the drawings have been slow. I went to college for drawing, but stopped for 20+ years.

She'll get her book LORD willing by her birthday.
